Hayford Siaw- President & Founder

A Social Innovator with multidisciplinary experience, Hayford founded Street Library to offer all children in Africa a shot at literacy. He believes, the ability to read and write is key to a better life for all.  He is a Tigo Digital Change Leader and Ford Motors International fellow. He has benefited from various training programs around the world including Sweden, United States, Germany, and Singapore. He holds a first Degree in Business Administration (Management Option) and Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)-(Project Management Option) from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). He is trained in Management, Strategic thinking, and Leadership  at the Picker Center for Executive Education  at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, USA.

Bianca Adwoa Osei-Sarfo, Lawyer
A Lawyer by profession, Bianca is a passionate supporter of literacy initiatives for the marginalised. Her vision is to help empower children on the continent through education so that they can hold their own anywhere in the world. As a Board Member of SLG, Bianca provides legal support and directions for effective administration of SLG. Bianca holds a degree in Political Science and English, LLB, and BL.

 

Akua Pokuaa Essah Koli, Lecturer

A Lecturer at the University of Ghana, she provides strategic support and training to management Staff and volunteers of SLG to execute relevant literate activities to support the development of a love for reading among children. Her competence in Public policy and administration is also relevant in SLG engagement with government authorities to influence policy on libraries in Ghana. Pokuaa believes that, as Board Member of SLG, it affords her the opportunity to reach out to the marginalised children and to motivate them to pursue higher education. She holds a BSc Public Administration and MPHIL in Public Administration from the University of Bergen, Norway.

 

Daniel Anarfi, Financial Controller

Daniel works with a leading solar company in Ghana DENG. Before joining DENG, Daniel has extensively worked in business incubation for SMEs in Ghana. He has volunteered with diverse organizations over the past ten years supporting diverse nonprofits and SMEs. With in-depth experience, he consults as a Business Development Strategist and has been involved in financial engineering for SMEs. He holds a BSc Accounting and an MBA Finance Option

 

Joshua Mensah, Development Finance Practitioner
Prior to founding his nonprofit organization, Foundation for Financial Inclusion which focuses on financial education to the informal sector, he worked with Databank Brokerage Ltd as an Operation Officer in the fixed income unit. He is also the co-Founder of the Young Investor Network ( a financial literacy group which has trained over 10,000 on savings and investment .

 

Joshua is a known subject matter expert on financial literacy to the youth in Ghana.
He holds a Bsc Banking & Finance and an Msc Development Finance. He is also hold a Certified Credit Administrator. He holds a Certificate in monitoring and Evaluation from GIMPA. 
Joshua is an author and a passionate advocate for literacy and financial inclusion for the young people.
