On 9 April 2015, Ghanaman Community Reinvestment Grant (CRG) signed an agreement with Street Library to support the establishment of a Digital Hub in the Nsawam Adoagyiri municipality.
Once completed, the newly constructed Hub will provide access to much needed literacy, cultural and learning resources in varied formats to 5000 children within the community and its environs. The centre will provide access to state-of-the-art computers and offer Information Communication Technology learning opportunities
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Street Library President Hayford Siaw expressed gratitude to the Board and Management of Ghanaman CRG for their vision and support, allowing previously underserved rural children to benefit from the digital revolution. “Digital Inclusion for children in Ghana—and throughout Africa—should be of interest to every institution and this support has come at the right time,” Mr. Siaw concluded.
